Ibis Hotel

We are situated at C 53 on Golf Course Road in Sector 53. If you are driving around Gurgaon, you’ve probably seen the big Genpact building nearby. We are just near that, in Block 1. This part of Gurgaon is always under construction or has something going on with the roads. At Ibis Hotel, we deal with the reality of 122003 every day. The noise of the city is part of the background here. We have guests coming in at all hours of the night because of the airport and the corporate offices around us. It’s a lot of checking IDs and handing out keys. We don’t try to make it sound more glamorous than it is. It’s a place for people to sleep and for us to work. The team here is a mix of young folks and some who have been in the hotel business forever. We spend a lot of time in the lobby and the corridors, just making sure things are where they need to be. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks or the Wi-Fi acts up, and we just fix it and move on. It’s a practical kind of life on Golf Course Road. We see the same commuters every morning while we are starting our shift. It’s a busy corner of Sector 53, but we’ve found our rhythm in the middle of all the Gurgaon hustle and bustle.
