Hotel Rajvanshi

We’ve been running this place on Old Railway Road for quite a few years now. It’s right near DSD College, so there is always some noise from the students walking by and the rickshaws honking out front. It’s a busy spot, but that’s just the way this part of 122001 is. We don’t have a big flashy entrance, just a simple door and a desk where one of us sits to help people when they arrive. The building is older, so we spend a good chunk of our day fixing little things, like a leaky tap or a bulb that’s gone out. We try to keep the rooms as clean as possible because that’s what matters most when someone is traveling. Most people who stay here are just passing through for work or visiting the college nearby. We don't do much in the way of decoration, just the basics like a bed and a chair. In the mornings, we usually have some tea going and we talk about what needs to be cleaned first. It’s a steady routine. We know the neighbors well, and sometimes we sit outside on the steps when things are slow. It isn't a luxury spot by any means, but it’s a place to put your head down. We just keep our heads down and do the work of keeping the rooms ready for whoever shows up next. We just want to make sure people have a decent stay without any fuss.
