Hotel Haut Monde

Our hotel, Haut Monde, is found in Kriti Nagar, over in Sector 15 of Gurgaon. The pin code is 122001. Gurgaon is a fast place, but our little corner in Sector 15 is a bit more settled than the main hubs. We have been running this place to give people a spot to stay when they come to the city for meetings or to visit family. The building is a standard city structure with several floors. There is a small team of us who do everything from checking people in to making sure the breakfast is ready. It is a lot of running around, to be honest. We don't have any of those polished corporate scripts. We just talk to people like normal human beings. Sometimes the traffic in Gurgaon makes it hard for guests to arrive on time, so we often stay up late to wait for them. The rooms are just regular rooms with what you need for a night's sleep. We spend our days fixing little things and keeping the lobby clean. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we do. There are some regulars who have been coming here for years, and we know them by name. We just try to keep a roof over people's heads and make sure the electricity stays on. It is just a local business trying to make it in a big city.
