Hotel Dev Palace

We are tucked away in Sadar Bazar, right behind the post office near Ganga Bhavan. If you know this part of Gurgaon, you know the streets are narrow and always full of bikes and carts. It’s a real old-school market vibe. The hotel itself is just a regular building in the middle of all that chaos. I spend most of my day dealing with the deliveries or talking to the shopkeepers next door. We’ve been here for a while, so we’re part of the furniture now. The rooms are basic because most people staying here are in town for shopping or small business deals in the bazar. We don’t have a big sign or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and we find you a room. It can get pretty loud during the day with all the shouting and horns, but it settles down once the shops close. We do our own cleaning and maintenance, so things aren't always perfect, but we try. It’s a busy, cramped area, but it’s home for us. We don't use any marketing tricks to get people in. The location does it for us. People know they can find a bed here without any fuss. It’s just a plain hotel for people who need a central spot in the old city. We just keep doing our thing every day. It is mostly about keeping the water running and floors clean.
