Her'S Couture Llp is on the first floor of C-7/4 in Ardee City, Sector 52. Gurgaon can be a bit overwhelming with all the high-rises, but Sector 52 has a bit of a different vibe, more like a mix of homes and small offices. We have been in this spot for a while, and it is where all the designing and fitting happens. Since we are on the first floor, we get a bit of a view of the street, which is nice when we take a break. The studio is usually filled with the sound of scissors cutting through silk or cotton. We have racks of outfits lined up against the walls, and there is always a stray thread or two on the floor no matter how much we sweep. It is a small team, so we all know each other’s habits and how we like our tea. We don't have a big corporate structure; it is more like a workshop where we talk about styles and try to fix things that aren't sitting right on the mannequins. Parking in Ardee City can be a real headache, but we manage. Most of our day is spent pinned to the sewing machines or staring at sketches. It is a lot of sitting and focusing on small details, which can be tiring, but it is just the daily routine for us here.
