Hare Krishna Sweets

Hare Krishna Sweets is located at Ep 175 in Jacombpura, right in the Naya Bazar area. This part of town is always packed with people and carts moving around. Inside the shop, it’s usually quite warm because of the stoves running in the back. We spend a lot of our time stirring big pots and traying up different items. It gets very busy during the festival seasons, and we often find ourselves working late into the night just to keep the shelves full. The building is older, and we’ve had to do some repairs here and there to keep things looking okay. The floor is made of stone and we scrub it every night. Naya Bazar is a loud place, so you can always hear the traffic and people shouting outside. We don’t have a lot of space for people to sit, so most customers just buy what they need and head back out into the crowd. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if we aren’t all related. We just focus on the recipes we’ve been using for a long time. There’s nothing too fancy about Ep 175, just a lot of sugar and hard work. We try to keep the flies away and the counters wiped down. It’s just what we do here in Jacombpura. Sometimes the deliveries are late, which makes things stressful, but we manage to get by somehow.
