Our place is down in Village Kherki Daula, right off the Nh.8 highway. It’s a bit of an interesting location because you have the village life on one side and the fast-paced highway on the other. You can see the heavy trucks flying by all day long, which makes the whole building shake just a little bit. We have a fairly large setup here to fit all the tools and machines we use. It’s not a quiet office by any means. There’s always the sound of something being moved or fixed. The floor is concrete and usually has a few scuff marks from the heavy crates we move around. We don't have a fancy reception area with a sofa; it’s just a desk where the phone rings quite a bit. The staff comes from all over, some from the village and some from the nearby towns. We all eat our lunch together in a small room at the back. The air can get a bit dusty with all the construction and traffic nearby, but we just keep the doors shut and the fans on high. It’s a very practical, hands-on environment. No one is trying to look important here; we are just focused on getting the orders ready and the tools shipped out. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s a good place to get some real work done every day. We usually finish up and head out before the evening traffic gets too bad.
