We spend a lot of time up here on the 15th floor. It’s Building 9A in DLF Cyber City. Most mornings start with the elevator rush, which is just how it goes in Phase 3. You get used to it after a while. Downstairs there are people everywhere, but up here it’s mostly just us getting through the day’s tasks for Fujitsu India Pvt Ltd. It isn't anything fancy, just a big office space where we handle what needs doing. The view of the city is alright when it’s not too hazy outside. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, and you start to recognize the security guards and the folks at the tea stall nearby. Sometimes the internet is slow or the coffee machine acts up, but that is part of the job. We don’t really do big speeches or anything. Mostly just sitting at desks, answering emails, and making sure the work moves along like it should. Cyber City has a specific kind of energy that keeps you moving even when you’re tired. It gets loud outside with all the cars and the construction that never seems to stop in this part of town. By the time evening rolls around, the lights in the other buildings come on and it looks quite busy. We just pack up and head back down to the ground floor to join the commute home. It’s been another long day but that’s just life here.
