Fortune Select Global By Welcomgroup is right on M.G. Road, inside the Global Arcade. If you’ve ever driven down M.G. Road, you know exactly how the traffic can be, especially during the rush hour. We are right there in the middle of it all. The building is a big one, and we occupy a good part of it, keeping things moving for all the people who come in for meetings or just a place to sleep. Our staff is a mix of young folks and some who have been in the hotel business for decades. We don’t go in for all those polished marketing phrases you see elsewhere. We just focus on the practical side of things, like making sure the elevators are working and the towels are fresh. Working in the Global Arcade means we see a lot of office workers coming and going every day. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we try to keep a steady rhythm inside the hotel. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and the lobby gets crowded, but we just take people one by one and get them sorted out. We’re just a bunch of regular people working hard to maintain this space. We don’t claim to be perfect, but we do try to keep things organized and functional for every guest who walks through the arcade doors. It takes a lot of effort to keep it all going.
