Dlf Laing O'Rourke

We’ve been based out of South City Phase 1 in Gurgaon for a good while now. Our address is M-196. It’s a bit different from the crowded streets of Delhi, but it still has its own pace. Dlf Laing O'Rourke uses this space to keep everything organized. It’s a quiet enough area, which is nice when you’re trying to go over project plans or talk to the contractors without all the honking outside. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical setup where we do our thinking and planning. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee, and that’s usually where most of the talk happens. People come in and out all day. Sometimes it’s the site managers, sometimes it’s just the mail delivery. We try to keep things tidy, but with all the blueprints and papers flying around, it usually looks a bit cluttered. That’s just how it goes when you’re busy. The winters here are cold, so we usually have a small heater tucked under the main table. We don't go for anything flashy. Most of us have been working together for years, so we know how each other works without having to say much. It’s a solid place to work from and it gets the job done. We just keep our heads down and stay on top of the schedule.
