Chocolate Obsessions

I work at Chocolate Obsessions, which is located inside Park View City I on Sohna Road. It’s actually at D 004. It’s a quiet place compared to the main road because we are tucked inside the residential complex. Most of the people who come in are neighbors or kids from the nearby towers. I spend most of my afternoon weighing out ingredients and making sure the fridge is at the right temperature. If it gets too warm, everything starts to melt, and that’s a real mess to clean up. The smell of sugar and cocoa is always in the air, which was nice at first, but now I don't even notice it anymore. I have a small counter where I pack the boxes. Sometimes people want a ribbon tied around them, and my fingers aren't always great at making them look perfect every time. It’s a small shop, so I’m usually here by myself during the day. I listen to the radio or just watch the people walking their dogs outside the window. It’s a peaceful way to earn a living, honestly. When the school bus drops the kids off in the afternoon, the shop gets really busy for about an hour. They all want something sweet before they go home to do their homework. I like seeing the same faces every day. It feels more like a community than just a regular business.
