Bikanervala

This Bikanervala is located right in the middle of Huda Market in Sector-12A, near Old Delhi Road. If you know Gurgaon, you know how hectic this area gets. We occupy shops 26 and 29. It’s a big space but it often feels small because of how many people come in for sweets and snacks. The morning starts early here with the delivery trucks pulling up and the smell of fresh ghee everywhere. We have people standing at the counters all day. It’s loud, and there is always someone asking for a sample or a specific box of mithai. The floor gets sticky sometimes during the festival rush, but we try our best to keep up with the cleaning. Our staff wears those uniforms, but after a long shift, we all look a bit tired. We have the usual snacks and meals that people expect. It’s not a quiet place for a romantic dinner; it’s more for families and people who are out shopping in the market. We deal with the traffic and the noise of Old Delhi Road every single day. The glass displays are always being wiped because kids put their hands on them to see the sweets. It’s just a busy, everyday kind of shop. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. We just keep the trays full.
