Ashoka Arts

If you head over to Ardee City and look for Gate No. 4, you’ll find us at Khasra No.773. We are right there in Sector-52, Wazirabad. Ashoka Arts is where we do all our painting and design work. It’s not a very big space, but it’s ours. The floor is covered in paint splashes from different projects over the years. We usually have a few canvases or boards leaning against the walls drying. The smell of thinner and paint is pretty strong when you walk in. Sometimes the wind blows dust in from the road, which is annoying when we’re trying to keep a surface clean. We don’t have any fancy titles here. We just pick up the brushes or the cutters and get to it. Some days we spend hours just mixing colors to get them exactly right. It’s quiet work mostly, unless we have the radio playing in the corner. People from Ardee City stop by to ask questions or see how their things are coming along. We try to keep the gate clear so deliveries can get in, but there’s always something in the way like a spare crate or a ladder. It’s a bit disorganized, but we know where everything is kept. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and the rhythm of the work feels natural now. We just take one project at a time and finish it before starting the next one. The lighting isn't great, but we manage with what we have.
