Anj Architects

Anj Architects is tucked away over in Sector-38, specifically in Islampur Village. It is a bit of a different feel than the high-rise parts of Gurugram. We are at house number 735. The neighborhood is a mix of old and new, which keeps things interesting for us. Most mornings start with a cup of tea and looking over the latest sketches on the table. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we sit and figure out how to put buildings together. The streets around Islampur can be narrow and a bit crowded, but we like the energy of the village. It feels like a real place where people actually live and work. We spend a lot of time thinking about how to use small spaces better, probably because of where we are located. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we just deal with it. It is just a few of us here working on different designs. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. We'd rather just show someone a drawing and see if it makes sense to them. Being in this part of Haryana means we see all kinds of people. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know us. It is a simple operation, really. Just some pencils, some computers, and a lot of talk about bricks and mortar.
