We've been at Palam Vihar Main Road 1 for a while now. Most mornings start early, usually before the sun is even up, getting the milk boiled and the sugar ready. It gets quite busy here once people start heading to work. We mostly just keep our heads down and focus on the trays of barfi and jalebis. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when a lot of people come in at once, especially during the holidays, but we manage. We aren't really big on fancy decorations or anything. The floor gets a bit sticky by midday, which is just how it goes in a place like this. Most of our regulars know us by name, and we know who likes their samosas extra spicy. It’s loud out on the main road with all the traffic, but inside it’s just the usual clatter of utensils and people asking what's fresh. We try to keep things simple and just do what we’ve always done. Some days are more tiring than others, especially when the weather gets hot, but seeing the same faces every day makes it feel like part of the neighborhood. We don’t really change much around here. The shelves stay filled, and we keep the batches moving through the kitchen. It’s just a regular shop where people stop by for a quick bite or to take something home for their families. That's about it for us. We just stay busy and keep going.
