Aarna Architects

Our office for Aarna Architects is based in Sector 29, Gurgaon. If you know the area, you know it is one of the busiest parts of the city with a lot of restaurants and commercial activity. Finding a parking spot near our building can be a real struggle most days, so we usually get here early. The office itself is a functional space where we spend most of our waking hours. It is full of monitors, hard drives, and old folders from past jobs. We don't have a lot of wall decorations because we use the space to pin up current project schedules and sketches. The energy of Sector 29 definitely rubs off on the workplace. It is fast-paced and sometimes a bit loud with the traffic outside. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for the afternoon slump. Most of our work involves sitting through long meetings or staring at CAD software until our eyes get tired. It’s a straightforward environment without any corporate bells and whistles. We are just a group of people who enjoy the process of putting buildings together on paper. The office might look a bit cluttered to an outsider, but there is a system to the mess. It’s a good spot to be in because we are right in the middle of everything Gurgaon has to offer.
