Venus Glass

If you know the Dav High School Market on Khandsa Road, then you probably know where we are. Our shop is A-5, right opposite the SMS Bajaj showroom. It’s a busy spot, especially in the afternoons when the school lets out and the traffic picks up. We work with glass here at Venus Glass. It’s a lot of careful handling because, well, glass breaks if you aren't paying attention. We’ve been in this market for some time. The shop isn't very big, but we pack it full of different glass sheets. You’ll usually see us cutting pieces to size or loading them onto carts. It’s a bit noisy with the road right there, and sometimes the dust from the street gets on everything, so we spend a lot of time cleaning. We aren't trying to do anything fancy. Most people come to us because they need a window pane replaced or a tabletop cut for their home. We just talk to the locals, figure out what they need, and get it done. The Bajaj showroom across the street is a good landmark if you get lost. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most days. We stay open until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. It’s a decent place to work and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here.
