Adnan Aluminium Glass

Adnan Aluminium Glass is at Shop No 4 on M G Road. We are right by Fountain Chowk in Sikanderpur, just opposite Phase 2. It’s a very busy intersection. There’s always the sound of horns and people shouting outside. We work with glass and aluminium frames. It’s delicate work but also quite heavy. You have to be careful with the edges. The shop is filled with glass sheets leaning against the walls. We have to keep it clean because even a little bit of grit can scratch a mirror. I’ve been here at this location for a few years now. Most of our work is for shops and homes nearby. We do a lot of window frames and partitions. I usually have a helper with me to lift the larger pieces. My shop isn't very big, so we do a lot of the assembly right there on the floor. It can get a bit cramped when we have a big order. M G Road is always packed with traffic, especially near the chowk. We get a lot of dust from the road, so we’re constantly wiping down the glass. I’m usually there from morning until late evening. If someone needs a piece of glass cut to a specific size, they just walk in and wait. We don’t have a formal waiting area, just a stool or two. It’s a practical business for a practical neighborhood.
