Jitender Aluminium Glass

Our shop is right in Lala Ram Market on Sukrali MG Road. It is a busy spot but we have been here long enough that the noise doesn't bother us. We do a lot of work with aluminium frames and glass fittings. Most of our day is spent measuring things out or loading the truck for a job. It is physical work and we often have dust on our clothes by the end of the shift. Jitender is usually around, making sure the cuts are right and the glass doesn't break. We have stacks of metal and glass sheets leaned up against the walls. It isn't a showroom; it's a workshop where we actually build things. Sometimes customers come in with sketches on scraps of paper and we try to figure out how to make it work for their windows or doors. We use basic tools and a lot of manual labor. It's how we’ve always done it. Sukrali is a good place to be because everyone knows where the market is. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just drop by or call us when they need a repair or a new partition. It can get hot in the summer with the sun hitting the shop front, but we keep the fans going and keep working. It’s just us doing what we know how to do with glass and metal. We take it one day at a time.
