Ankit Glass House & Aluminium Door

Ankit Glass House & Aluminium Door is located on Pataudi Road, right near Sector 10 A. You can usually see our shop from the road because of the large glass sheets leaning against the interior walls. We work with both glass and aluminium, making things like window frames and shop fronts for local people. It is delicate work in some ways because glass breaks so easily if you aren't careful when moving it. We spend our time cutting materials to specific sizes and putting together the metal tracks. The shop is often quite bright because of all the reflections coming off the surfaces. We have been operating from this spot on Pataudi Road for several years now. It is a busy road, so there is always noise from the passing cars and trucks outside. We don’t have a fancy corporate structure; it’s just a few of us handling all the orders ourselves. Sometimes we go out to people's houses to install the windows we’ve made in the shop. It takes a steady hand and a lot of patience to get the glass to sit just right in the aluminium frames. We keep our tools organized as much as we can, though the floor is often covered in small metal shavings. People from Sector 10 A often drop in when they have a broken pane or need a new door. We just stay busy with the work at hand and get things done.
