Caneville Crafts

Our shop is located on Delhi Road in Sector-14, right across from the Hdfc Bank. It’s a good spot because people know the bank well. We deal in all sorts of craft items, especially things made from cane and other natural materials. When you walk in, you’ll notice the smell of wood and dried grass. There are baskets, furniture pieces, and smaller decorative things piled up around the room. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time talking to the artisans who make these things and getting everything delivered to the shop. Sometimes the items get a bit dusty from the road outside, so we are often seen with a duster in hand. It’s a family-run kind of feel here. We don't have a corporate structure or big meetings. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. Some people come looking for a specific chair, while others just want a small gift. We try to be helpful without hovering too much. The traffic on Delhi Road can be pretty loud, especially in the evenings, but inside the shop, it feels a bit more grounded. We take pride in the fact that these items are made by hand. It’s simple work, selling things that people actually use in their homes. We’ve been at this for a while and plan to stay.
