Mixx Windows

Mixx Windows is situated at No. 39-40 B on the first floor in the industrial area on Main MG Road. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of noise from machines and trucks moving around outside. Our space is on the first floor, so we spend a lot of time carrying stuff up and down those stairs. It’s a workout, especially on hot days when the sun is hitting the metal roofs. The air inside smells a bit like metal and glass, which is what we deal with most of the time. We have piles of frames and glass sheets stacked up in different corners. It’s not the neatest place, but we know exactly where everything is. The guys on the floor are usually busy measuring or cutting, so there’s always that sound of tools running. MG Road is always packed, so getting deliveries in or out requires some good timing. We don’t have a fancy showroom; people just come up the stairs and talk to us directly in the middle of all the work. It’s a very hands-on environment. Sometimes we sit down for lunch together on the old wooden table in the corner. There’s no air conditioning in the main work area, just some big fans that move the air around. We’re just a group of people making windows and trying to get orders out on time without too much fuss.
