Jmd Furniture House is located in Shivaji Nagar, right near the State Bank on Khandsa Road. Most people find us by looking for the bank first since it’s a well-known landmark in this part of town. Our shop is full of all kinds of furniture pieces like wooden beds, sofas, and cupboards. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we like to keep a lot of variety on the floor for people to see. Khandsa Road is always busy with traffic and people walking by, so there is a lot of noise and dust coming in from the street. We spend a good part of our morning cleaning off the displays. We are just local people running a local business. We don't have a team of sales experts or a marketing department. If you walk in, you’ll likely talk directly to one of us who has been moving the furniture around. We know which pieces are sturdy and which ones are more for style. Sometimes we have to move things out onto the sidewalk just to make room to breathe inside. It’s a practical way of working. We don't use any fancy talk to describe our items. We just show you what we have and tell you the price. It’s honest work and we’ve been here long enough that the regulars know us by name. We just keep doing our thing day after day. There is always someone here to help you out if you need to measure something.
