Started at Plot No. 51 quite some time ago. Roz-Ka-Meo is a busy place, plenty of dust and noise from all the factories around here. We deal with plastic packaging mainly. There are these huge machines running day and night to blow mold bottles and jars. It gets really hot inside during the summer months, but the work has to get done. Most of us here have been around for years. We just keep our heads down and watch the production lines. Sometimes the electricity acts up, which is a headache for everyone, but we manage. The warehouse gets packed with stacks of crates before the trucks arrive for loading. It’s not a fancy setup with glass offices or anything like that. Just a lot of workers in uniforms and the smell of warm plastic. The floor is always covered in some scrap or another that needs sweeping. People come in early, drink their tea, and get to the machines. We focus on the dimensions and making sure the lids fit right. If a batch is off, it’s a long day of fixing things. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy. The area is full of similar industrial units, so there’s always a truck blocking the road or someone asking for directions to another plot. We just stay in our corner and keep the machines humming. It is not about looking good on paper, just getting the orders out the gate.
