Deeya Energy India Pvt. Ltd. is located at Plot 732 in Pace City II, Sector 37. It’s right in the heart of the industrial zone. We spend our days working on energy storage and battery tech. The building is a standard industrial plot, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have our labs and assembly areas. It can get pretty warm in the summer, but we have the fans going. We aren’t really into the whole corporate culture thing. We’re just a group of engineers and technicians who show up and do the work. The area around Plot 732 is always full of activity with other factories and workshops. Sometimes the power goes out in the sector, which is ironic given what we do, but we deal with it. We have our coffee breaks in the small breakroom and talk about whatever needs fixing that day. It’s a very hands-on place. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do; we just focus on making the energy systems work. Being in Pace City II is convenient for shipping and getting parts delivered. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us all by name. It’s just a steady, working-class atmosphere where we try to keep things moving forward. We usually keep a kettle going for anyone who needs a quick cup of coffee.
