Our place is at No. 82 in Sector-4 over in Imt Manesar. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know it’s mostly just trucks and factories as far as you can see. We spend most of our time dealing with boxes and paperwork because that’s the nature of export work. There’s always a truck waiting or a container that needs to be packed just right. It gets pretty hectic around the end of the month. We aren't a huge corporation with departments for everything. It’s just a few of us making sure things get where they need to go across the border. Sometimes the labels get mixed up or a shipment is delayed at the port, and we have to spend hours on the phone fixing it. It's not always smooth. The office is a bit cramped because we use half of it for storing samples. We’ve been in this spot for a few years and the neighbors are all doing similar stuff, so we help each other out with pallet jacks or tape when someone runs out. It’s a busy environment. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We mostly just keep our heads down and work through the lists. Manesar can be a long drive for some, but for us, it’s just where the work happens. It's a lot of coordination and making sure the count is right before the trailer leaves. We try to keep mistakes low.
