We are based in the Inhwa Business Centre inside the Iris Tech building. It’s a modern enough place, with those heavy glass doors and security at the front. Dan Turk Farms & Services isn't exactly what you’d expect to find in a tech park, but this is where we do all the planning and service coordination. We spend most of our time at our desks or in small meeting rooms. It’s quite different from being out in the field. There’s a lot of clicking of keyboards and people drinking coffee while looking at spreadsheets. The air conditioning is always a bit too cold, so most of us keep a sweater at the office. We handle the service side of things, making sure the farms get what they need. It's a lot of logistics. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all just sit around waiting for pages to load. The business centre has other companies too, so you meet people in the hallways or by the water cooler. It’s a professional spot but we keep it pretty casual among ourselves. We don't go for anything flashy. Just making sure the agricultural services are running smoothly from behind the scenes. It’s a lot of phone calls to people actually out on the land. We just try to keep things organized so the real work doesn't stop.
