Shivshakti Agro (India) Ltd. is set up in the Punjab Wakf Board Market, units 19 and 20. It’s a busy spot on Patadi Road. The market is always loud with people talking and vehicles moving around. We deal with agro products, so there’s always a lot of loading and unloading happening right outside our door. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the stock we keep, but we know where everything is. Most of the time we are talking to farmers or suppliers who drop by. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you out, usually with a ledger in their hand. We've been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners in the market. It’s a community feel. The dust from the road gets in everything, so we are constantly sweeping. We try to keep things simple. If a customer needs something, we find it. If a shipment is late, we call around to see where it is. It’s just daily life in a busy market. We don’t spend much on advertising because people just know where we are. It’s a lot of work, but it keeps us going. We hope to stay in this market for many more years as things grow.
