Chahat Gift Palace

Chahat Gift Palace is our little shop located at 510/9 Dayal Market in Shiv Puri. It’s a small corner where we’ve tried to fit as many different items as possible onto the shelves. If you’re walking through Shiv Puri, you can usually spot us by the colorful stuff we keep near the front. We mostly have things for birthdays, weddings, and those times when you just need a small present for someone. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a simple place with some racks and a counter. We spend a lot of time dusting the boxes because things can sit for a bit in a market like this. Dayal Market is a friendly enough place, and we know most of the people who walk by every day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside if more than two or three people come in at once, but we make it work somehow. We started this because we liked being part of the local community. It isn't a huge business with a big staff; it’s just us making sure the shelves stay full. We don't really do any big advertising or anything. People just find us when they are out doing their regular shopping. We try to keep a variety of things like photo frames and small toys. It’s a quiet way to make a living and we appreciate the regular faces that stop by to say hello or pick up a card. It’s home for us.
