Ali Tools & Hardware Stores

Ali Tools & Hardware Stores is located at 816 Rishi Nagar, right in the Rani Bagh shopping area. It’s a lively neighborhood and there is always something going on outside our door. The shop is filled from floor to ceiling with just about every kind of tool or piece of hardware you could think of. We have hammers, wrenches, boxes of screws, and stuff for plumbing tucked into every corner. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two customers come in at once, but we manage. I’ve lived around Rani Bagh most of my life, so I know a lot of the people who walk in looking for a specific nut or bolt. Half the time, they don't even know the name of what they need, so we have to go through the drawers until we find the right match. The shelves are a bit dusty, and the floor has seen better days, but that’s a hardware store for you. It smells like metal and oil in here. We spend a lot of time helping people figure out how to fix things in their own homes. There’s no fancy computer system for inventory; we mostly just know where everything is because we’ve put it there ourselves. It’s a simple business, but it keeps us busy from morning until the shutters go down at night.
