A Home Gift Shop

A Home Gift Shop is located at G-5 in the Qutab Plaza Market. Being in Dlf City Phase I means we get a lot of people who are just walking by after finishing their grocery shopping. The shop is not very big, so we have to be careful about how we stack the boxes. We have all sorts of things for the house and some small gifts too. The market itself is an older one, so it has a specific feel to it. We open up early and start by sweeping the front. Most of the day is spent unpacking new arrivals and checking for any broken pieces. It is just us here, usually sitting behind the counter or helping someone find a vase or a set of glasses. The walls are covered in shelves and every bit of floor space is used up. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with all the colors and patterns. We do not use any big marketing tricks. People just know we are here in Qutab Plaza. We see a lot of the same neighbors every day. It feels like a small part of a much bigger city. We just focus on keeping the shop tidy and making sure we have enough variety for the people in Phase I. It is a quiet way to run a business, just taking things one day at a time without any rush.
