Shankar Tour & Travels

People in Sujanpur know us mostly as the place near Shivala Mandir. We are located at Pull No-5, right on the road. It’s a busy spot because of the bridge. You can hear the traffic passing by all the time while we work. Shankar Tour & Travels has been around this part of Pathankot for a good bit now. We spend most of our time answering calls and checking on the vehicles. The temple nearby brings in a lot of people, especially on special days when it gets really crowded. Our office isn't big, but it serves the purpose. We have a few drivers who have been with us for years. They know all the shortcuts through the narrow lanes. Sometimes the rain makes the road near the bridge a bit messy, but we manage. It’s just us doing our thing here. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure people get their rides booked without too much trouble. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the local news while waiting for customers. Most of our work comes from people living right here in the neighborhood. They just drop by when they need to go out of town. We keep things pretty straightforward and don't try to make it more complicated than it needs to be. Just a local travel desk by the bridge.
