R1 Travel World

R1 Travel World is located right at Hanuman Chowk in Gurdaspur. We are on the second floor, so you have to walk up the stairs. It’s directly opposite the Hanuman Mandir, which makes it very easy to explain where we are to anyone who isn't from around here. The chowk is always noisy with cars and people, but up on the second floor, it’s a bit more peaceful. We do a lot of travel bookings, flights, and stuff like that. It’s just a few of us in the office. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. The windows look out over the street, so we can see everything happening at the temple across the way. Sometimes the traffic gets backed up all the way to our door. We’ve been here for several years now. The office isn't huge, but it fits our desks and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. We don’t really do anything fancy. We just take down the details, check the prices, and print out the tickets. It is honest work and we like being part of the local community here. Gurdaspur is home for us. We know most of the shopkeepers nearby. If you’re coming to see us, just look for the Hanuman temple and then look across the road for the stairs. It is a simple setup but it works well for what we need to do every day.
