Our place is Pathankot Cantt Taxi Service and we operate out of house number 216 B in New Shastri Nagar. It’s a residential neighborhood, so we are surrounded by other houses and local families. This isn't a typical shopfront; it’s more of a home-based business where we manage our taxis. We have been here for quite some time, and most of our neighbors know what we do. Since we are in New Shastri Nagar, we are quite close to the Cantt area, which is where a lot of our work comes from. We keep our vehicles parked nearby and spend most of our time coordinating pickups and drops. It’s a simple life, mostly spent on the phone or talking to the drivers about their routes. We don't have any big advertisements or a marketing team. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone they know gave them our number. The office is just a small room in the house where we keep the registers and keys. It can get a bit hectic when multiple bookings come in at once, but we've got a system that works for us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in town, we just want to keep things running smoothly and help people get to the station or the airport without any trouble.
