We are located in Gurdaspur, right near the bus stand. If you look across the street, you’ll see the Parag Hotel. New Shalimar Tour & Travels is in a good spot for people who are just arriving in town and need a way to get around. The area is always buzzing with people, vendors, and the sound of buses. It’s never really quiet around here, but we like it that way. We spend our time booking tours and helping with travel plans. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk in and ask a question. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Just some basic furniture and ourselves. We’ve been working in Gurdaspur for a long time. We know the area well and we know the people who live here. Sometimes it’s a bit messy with all the papers on the desk, but we know where everything is. We don’t go for all that corporate talk. We just speak plain English and get to the point. Most days are pretty much the same—answering phones, talking to travelers, and making sure everything is in order. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We don't have any big promises to make to anyone. We just do the work as it comes and try to be helpful to the people who stop by our office near the hotel. It’s a simple setup for a simple business.
