R.L. Machine Tools

Our place, R.L. Machine Tools, is right on G.T. Road in Batala. If you are looking for us, we are directly opposite Mittal Kanda. This is a very busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of noise from the heavy vehicles going towards Amritsar or Pathankot. The location is quite handy for people traveling through. We deal with machine tools, and our shop is usually quite full of them. It isn't the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. There is a certain smell of oil and iron that stays with you after a day of work here. We have been in Batala for a long time, and we have seen the town change around us. The winters here can be really biting, so we usually have a small heater going near the desk. During the summer, it's the opposite, and we just try to stay in the shade. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most of the people who come here are regulars who have known us for years. They know we are just across from the Kanda. We do our work, talk to the folks who drop by, and try to keep things moving. It’s a decent life, even if the road noise never really stops. We are just a local business doing what we know best.
