Kamla Foundry And Workshop is located right on Kashmir Road. It’s a place where things are made with fire and heavy tools. If you walk inside, you’ll see the smoke and the glowing metal, and you’ll definitely feel the heat. We’ve been running this workshop for years, and it hasn't changed much in all that time. The walls are covered in soot and the tools are worn down from decades of use. We do basic foundry work, casting pieces and fixing things that people bring in. It’s physical, tiring labor, and we usually go home covered in grime. There isn't a front office or a receptionist. If you want to talk to us, you just walk into the workshop and find someone who isn't busy with a mold. We don’t use any high-tech gadgets; we rely on what we’ve learned from years of experience. Sometimes a job is more difficult than it looks, and we have to try a few times to get the casting right. Kashmir Road is a busy stretch, and we’re just one of many small businesses trying to keep things moving. We don’t have a website or any fancy advertisements. People find us because they know we do honest work for a fair price. It’s just a simple foundry where we take pride in using our hands every single day.
