Dawn Foundry Engg. Works

We are tucked away in Masjid Wali Gali on Faizpura Road, very close to the railway station here in Gurdaspur. Being a foundry and engineering works, we deal with a lot of heat, metal, and heavy tools. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze getting down our street sometimes, but we’ve been here a long time. The sound of the trains passing by is just something we hear in the background now. We don't have a shiny office or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll find us in our work clothes with some grease on our hands. We do casting and basic engineering stuff that people in the district need. It’s physical work and the foundry gets very hot, especially in the middle of summer. We don't use any fancy talk about our plans or anything. We just want to make sure the parts we cast are strong and the machines we fix stay fixed. Gurdaspur is a quiet enough place, but our shop is always busy with some project or another. We've known our neighbors for years, and most of our work comes from people just knowing where we are. It’s a simple, old-school way of doing business. We show up, do the work, and go home. That is pretty much all there is to it at our shop. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our hands and some old machines that still work perfectly fine for what we need.
