Kavita Architect

You can find our office at T-2/657A in the New Colony part of Shahpurkandi Twonship. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say, but it’s where we are. Kavita Architect is basically just a small room filled with papers and drawing boards. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s just us and our tools. Shahpurkandi is a unique place, and being in the New Colony means we’re around a lot of residential life. We spend a lot of time thinking about how people actually live in the spaces we draw. Sometimes we get stuck on a problem and have to walk around the township to clear our heads. The office gets a bit warm in the summer, but we have a good fan that keeps things moving. We don't go for any of that high-pressure sales talk. If people like what we do, they come back. We keep things pretty simple. There’s a small desk for the computer and a larger one for the big sheets of paper. We have a shelf for our reference books and some models we’ve made. It’s a quiet spot for the most part. We like the fact that we can focus on our work without too many distractions. Being in a township like this means we see the results of our work right in the neighborhood. We just try to do a solid job and keep things moving forward. We have a calendar on the wall that is usually a few days behind, but we manage fine without worrying.
