Vignan English Medium School

This school is located in Georgepet, right over in the Rangaswamy Nagar area. It’s a place where you see a lot of local families sending their kids because it’s close to home. We call it an English medium school, and we do our best to stick to that, though you’ll hear plenty of the local language in the hallways during break time. The building is a two-story structure that’s been painted a few different colors over the years. Right now, it’s a bit faded from the sun. We have a small staff room where we keep all the textbooks and the old globe that everyone uses. The classrooms are a bit tight when everyone is present, but we manage. In the mornings, you’ll see parents on scooters dropping off their children before heading to work. Georgepet is a busy spot, so there is always the sound of horns and distant music from the nearby temples or houses. We don't have a huge playground, so the kids mostly play tag or sit and talk in the shade during their free time. The desks are mostly made of metal and wood, and some have names carved into them from students who left years ago. It’s a very ordinary school day here from Monday to Saturday. We just follow the schedule, do the lessons, and head home when the sun starts to go down. The stairs are narrow, so we have to tell the kids not to run.
