Sri Saraswathi Sisu Mandir

You can find our school in Sampath Nagar, right near the Ramanama Kshethram Temple in the Nallacheruvu part of Guntur. The school has a very traditional feel to it. Being so close to the temple, it is a fairly peaceful spot, though Guntur can be quite noisy in general. We have a very simple setup here. The building is functional and does a good job of keeping the hot sun out during the peak heat of the afternoon. We follow a daily routine that has been in place for a long time. The kids start their morning with prayers, which you can hear echoing through the halls if you are nearby. We focus a lot on basic values and the local language, alongside the regular school subjects. The teachers are mostly local residents who have been with the Sisu Mandir for many years. We don't have air conditioning or high-tech labs. We have wooden benches, chalkboards, and a small playground area where the children spend their breaks. It is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s name. Parents often stop by the gate to chat with the staff about how their kids are doing in class. We aren't looking to expand into some massive chain of schools. We are just a local place serving the families around Nallacheruvu and Sampath Nagar. It’s an honest, humble environment where we just try to do right by the kids.
