Mehta Food Products

We operate out of 25-16-19 on Lalpuram Road. It is a busy stretch of road with a lot of movement all day long. Our facility is where we handle all the processing and packing. It is a clean space, but it is definitely a working environment and not a showroom. We have stainless steel tables and plenty of bins for the raw materials. The smell of whatever we are working on that day usually fills the whole place. We start early in the morning to get the first batch going before the sun gets too high. There is a lot of washing and sorting that happens before anything even gets to the packing stage. We wear our aprons and hats and just focus on the task at hand. The floors can get a bit slippery if we are not careful, so we are always mopping up. We have a small office area tucked into one side where the computer and the files live. It is a bit cramped in there, but it is enough for the two of us to handle the orders. Outside, the delivery bikes come and go pretty frequently. We have been on Lalpuram Road for quite some time now, and the local vendors all know us. It is a simple, honest way to make a living, and we take it one day at a time. We just keep our heads down. We have a small calendar on the wall where we mark off the days and note down when the next supply truck is coming.
