Food Master is situated in the Vijayalakshmi Tenthouse building in Vinukonda. We are right in the Mainbazar area, which is the heart of Guntur for many of us. Being in the Isukavagu area means it’s always dusty and loud, but that’s just part of being in a busy market. We started this because there wasn't a lot of choice for simple food in this specific corner. The space is a bit cramped, especially when we have a lot of bags and supplies sitting around, but we manage. Most of the people who come in are local shopkeepers or workers from the bazaar who need a quick break. We don't have any air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that we keep running all day long. My uncle handles the money and I stay in the back making sure everything is being cooked properly. We don't use a lot of fancy equipment, just basic stoves and pots that have seen better days. Every morning we have to get the fresh vegetables from the market nearby, which is always a bit of a struggle with the crowds. But it’s a good feeling once the first customer sits down. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Vinukonda. We just want to keep our doors open and do our job without too much fuss.
