Gsc Glass Ltd. is located right at 5 and 7 in the Udyog Vihar Industrial Area. It is a big, sprawling space, which is necessary because glass takes up a lot of room and you have to be careful with how you store it. Working here means you always have to watch your step and keep your gloves on. The industrial area is always loud with trucks and other factories, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. Inside our units, there’s a constant hum from the cutting machines and the water used for cooling. We aren't the type for big speeches or polished presentations. Most people who work here have been doing this for a long time and they know exactly how to handle the material without breaking anything. The break room is small and the coffee is usually a bit too strong, but it’s where we sit and talk about our weekends. It’s a very straightforward place to work. We just focus on the orders we have for the day and try to make sure everything is cut to the right size. Dealing with glass can be tricky, especially when the orders are for large, heavy pieces that require several people to move. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and safety posters that have been there forever. It’s a solid, local business where we just do our jobs.
