Scholastic Classes

Scholastic Classes is over on Pipraich Road. We are near the HP Petrol Pump in Gita Vatika. It’s a decent area, not as loud as the main market. You can smell the petrol sometimes when the wind blows the right way. We have a simple setup here. A few rows of benches and a whiteboard. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just ceiling fans that hum all day. Most of the kids live nearby in Gorakhpur and just walk or bike over. The gate is usually open by eight in the morning. We spend a lot of time just sitting and going over notes. Sometimes the stray dogs sleep under the shade of our porch. We don't mind. It’s a quiet life most days. We’ve been in this building for quite a bit. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we do. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just hear about us from their cousins or friends. It’s how things work in Gita Vatika. We have a small water cooler in the corner that everyone uses. In the rainy season, the road outside gets a bit muddy, so everyone leaves their shoes at the door. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us managing everything. We see the same faces every day and that’s fine by us. No big goals or corporate talk, just doing the daily work.
