Oxford Coaching Centre

We have been here in Gorakhpur for a long time now. It’s a busy city and there are always students around looking to learn something new. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where people come to sit and study. We spend our mornings and evenings mostly with students who are trying to get through their exams or just improve their English. It gets quite loud in the afternoons when classes are changing over. We have a few rooms with benches and boards. It’s a lot of repetitive work, going over the same books and papers every day, but it’s what we do. We don't have any big advertisements or flashy signs. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or cousins who came here before. Gorakhpur can get very hot in the summer, so we try to keep the fans running. We aren't trying to be some big corporate school. We just want to help the local kids get their work done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but the students are used to it. We keep our books stacked up in the corner and try to stay organized. It’s a simple life, teaching and checking homework. You can find us easily enough in the middle of town. We are usually there from early morning until late evening.
