Buddha Coaching Centre

We have been here in Gorakhpur for a while now, specifically tucked away in Hari Om Nagar near the Civil Lines area. Our spot is right by Katchehry Chauraha, so there is always a lot of movement outside with people going to the Civil Court or the students heading over to M.P. Inter College. It gets quite noisy during the day with all the rickshaws and traffic, but inside the rooms, things stay mostly focused on the books. We have some wooden benches and whiteboards that have seen better days, but they do the job just fine for everyone who comes in to study. Most days, I am here early to open the shutters and get the fans going because the heat in this part of town can be a lot. We don’t have any fancy office staff or big signs, just a simple space where we go over the lessons and try to figure out the difficult parts of the syllabus together. Sometimes parents drop by to ask how their kids are doing, and we usually just sit and talk over a glass of water. It is a very normal, local setup without any bells and whistles. We just focus on the chapters and the exams coming up. Life here revolves around the academic calendar and the busy streets of Civil Lines. It is just a regular place where teaching happens every day.
