Chaurichaura Organic Producer Company Limited is located in Sonbarsa Bazar. Mukesh Kumar Dubey is the one who runs the office part of it. We picked the name because we are proud of this area. We focus on organic farming, which can be a real headache sometimes because the pests are harder to manage without the strong sprays. But we think it's better for the land. Our office is in a busy part of the bazar, so there is always noise and people moving around. It’s a small space where we organize what the farmers bring in. We spend a lot of time chatting with the local growers about how to switch over to organic methods. It takes a lot more work and patience than the regular way of farming. We aren't trying to become some huge national company or anything like that. We just want to do right by the folks here in Sonbarsa. The roads around here get pretty bad when it rains, so getting the produce moved can be a challenge. We’ve been doing this for a while now and we learn something new every season. If you are in the bazar and need to find us, just ask for Mukesh. We usually have some tea ready and we are happy to talk about what we are planting this year. It is honest work and we do our best with the tools we have. No big corporate stuff here.
