Sagun P Parodker & Sons

Sagun P Parodker & Sons has been a fixture on the Main Road in Margaon for a long time. We are located right in the New Market area, which stays busy from morning until late at night. Being a family-run business, there is usually one of the sons or the older staff members around to help out. We don't have a big corporate structure here; it’s more about everyone pitching in where they are needed. The shop is full of all sorts of things, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what you want, but we know where everything is kept. The New Market is a great place to be because of all the different people we get to meet every day. It can be a bit chaotic with the noise from the Main Road and the shoppers, but we like the energy of the place. We keep things simple and don't bother with fancy slogans or big advertisements. Most people in Margaon know us by name, which is how we prefer to do things. We spend our days dealing with suppliers and making sure the shelves don't stay empty for too long. It is a lot of standing on our feet and moving crates, but it’s good honest work. We value the relationships we have built with our neighbors over the decades. If you walk down the Main Road, you can’t miss us.
