Ramdev Plastic Industries

We are based out of Plot No A-34 in the Madkai Industrial Estate. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where all the manufacturing happens for Ramdev Plastic Industries. The machines make a lot of noise throughout the shift, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We’ve been here for several years now. The floor is concrete and often has bits of plastic scrap around, though we try to sweep up at the end of the day. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months when the roof traps the heat. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. If you come by, you’ll just see the raw materials and the finished products stacked up on pallets. Most of our workers live nearby and walk or cycle in. We have a small corner partitioned off for the paperwork and the phone. It’s not very tidy, but we know where everything is. The industrial estate is quiet at night, but during the day it’s full of trucks and loading. We focus on getting the orders right and out the door on time. There aren't any big speeches or corporate values posters on our walls. Just the production schedule and a calendar. It is what it is—a small factory making plastic goods for the local market. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the work at hand.
